You can elect to make deposits to one or both accounts on a pre-tax basis through automatic payroll deductions
Who Can Participate
Regular associates working at least 16 hours per week
Participation Begins
January 1 or first of the month following an eligible associate's date of hire
About the Healthcare Account
  • Contribute from $100 up to $2,500 per year on a pre-tax basis
  • Reimburses you for eligible out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for you and eligible family members
About the Dependent Care Account
  • Contribute from $100 up to $5,000 ($2,500 if married filing separately) on a pre-tax basis
  • Reimburses you for eligible dependent day care expenses that enable you and your spouse to work (or attend school full-time)
Special Features
You make pre-tax deposits, which save you taxes. You also are automatically enrolled in streamlined automatic claims submission for the Pre-Tax Healthcare Account
The IRS requires you to forfeit any unused balances at year end

Each December 31 or when your employment ends, if sooner
